A Message from a Client:
“I like to extend my appreciation and expression gratitude for the help I most humblely receive. This is the first food pantry I’ve ever come to know or even visited for assistance. I was employed for twenty five years at a job that provided me and my family with all the comforts of life. Giving and sharing to others was something my family and I took for granted, and enjoyed the moments that we could help others who were less fortunate. Never having a thought that a day may come that my family and I would be in need of help. When the bottom fell out of my job that I loved so much it was a shock, a charge of electricity, a surprise of horror. It did not take come to find out that we were not shock-proof and what hunger is. Living such a comfortable life we had no ideal where to go or who to ask for help, until we were bless to meet such wonderful people at North Peninsula Food Pantry. I really feel the Pantry is saving lives by giving people hope and showing that their are people who cares. You and your staff are among those special people! there is a word within my father’s language, that word is Sakina, it means: Tranquility. This is what the Pantry gives to us. Thank you, thank you, thank you sincerely. “
